When to choose paper
Gloss paper stickers are made for anything that stays indoors: product labels, packaging seals, handouts, event giveaways and promotions. Small businesses use them for jar and bottle labels, bakery boxes, candle tins and thank-you seals on mailers, and event organizers use them for name tags and giveaways. They print in bright full colour on premium gloss paper with a permanent adhesive. Paper is not waterproof, so for outdoor gear, water bottles or anything that gets wet, pick custom vinyl stickers or die-cut vinyl stickers, which start at 10 pieces.
Shapes and sizes
Square paper stickers come in four sizes from 1 to 4 inches. Rectangle paper stickers and labels come in 15 sizes from 1 x 2 to 5 x 8 inches, which covers most product, bottle and jar labels, and custom dimensions are available if your label needs a different size. Circle and oval paper stickers come in eight circle sizes from 1 to 4 inches plus a 1.5 x 2.25-inch oval, a good fit for seals and jar lids. As a rule of thumb, squares suit logo stickers and box seals, rectangles suit product and bottle labels, and circles suit jar lids and envelope seals. Want several designs on one backing? No minimum, volume pricing
Paper stickers have no minimum, so you can order a single sticker to test a label before a bigger run, then reorder in larger numbers once the colours and size are right. The price per sticker drops at 25, 50, 100, 500 and 5,000 pieces, and the table above shows real prices for 2 x 2-inch squares. Every order comes with a free digital proof, and production takes 2–7 business days after proof approval. We offer free standard shipping in Canada on orders $350+ (express is paid), and pickup at our North York shop is free.
Paper or vinyl?
If the sticker stays indoors, paper does the job, and for small stickers in short runs it usually costs less than vinyl. If it goes outside, sits near water or gets handled a lot, choose vinyl.
