A save the date card gets glanced at and filed. A save the date magnet goes on the fridge and stays in your guests' kitchens until the wedding — a daily reminder that doubles as a keepsake. We print them in full colour at our Toronto facility on flexible magnet stock, so a Canadian couple can go from upload to in-hand in under two weeks, including shipping.
Sizes that fit your design
The classic save the date formats are 4″ × 6″ and 5″ × 7″ — postcard-style layouts with a photo, your names, and the date. Prefer something smaller for envelopes or budgets? 2″ × 3.5″ (business-card size) and 3″ × 4″ work beautifully and cost less to print and mail. In total our rectangular magnets come in 15 sizes, and round magnets in 7 if you want a different shape.
What they cost
Pricing scales with size and quantity and shows live in the calculator before you commit — small rectangular magnets start under a dollar, and volume discounts apply automatically from 25 pieces (most weddings order 50 to 200). Pick your size, enter your guest count, and the per-piece price is right there.
Designing your save the date magnet
- Photo plus type is the winning formula: one strong engagement photo, your names, the date, and the city. Details come later with the invitation.
- Send 300 DPI artwork with an eighth of an inch of bleed — or just upload your photo and text and we will lay it out. See the artwork spec guide.
- Matching pieces: add buttons for the wedding party or wedding buttons for the stag and doe — same artwork, same shipment.
Timing your order
Save the dates typically mail 6 to 8 months before the wedding. Production is 2 to 3 business days after you approve your free proof, plus shipping (1 to 5 business days across Canada). Order two weeks before you want to mail them and you will have time to spare — no overseas printer can match that safety margin.

Save the Date Magnets FAQ
4" × 6" is the classic photo-postcard format and the most popular. 5" × 7" makes a bigger statement; 2" × 3.5" and 3" × 4" are budget- and postage-friendlier. All fit standard invitation envelopes at their respective sizes.
One per household, not per guest — most couples order 50 to 200. Volume pricing starts at 25 pieces, and adding 10 to 15 spares for late additions and keepsakes is cheap insurance.

Production is 2 to 3 business days plus up to 5 shipping days within Canada. Ordering two weeks before your planned mail date leaves comfortable margin.
Yes — our flexible magnet stock mails in a standard envelope. Postage may cost slightly more than a plain card due to thickness; your local postal counter can confirm the exact rate for your size.
